How to make a scanned PDF searchable (OCR)

A scan is just an image until OCR reads the text. Toolify adds a searchable text layer so you can find and copy words in your document.

   Upload the scanned PDF

   Open the OCR PDF tool and add your scanned document.

   Select the language

   Choose the language of the text so OCR recognises the characters accurately.

   Run OCR and download

   Click Process and download a searchable PDF with a selectable text layer.
